COUNTER SALES Characteristics: The person applying for this position must have excellent people skills. Counter Sales personnel are the front line when it comes to building solid customer relationships. They must be sensitive and responsive to customer needs and issues. You must be energetic and friendly. You must be dependable and responsible. Responsibilities: A person accepting this position will have individual training for approximately two weeks. Computer knowledge is not required but is beneficial. Counter employees tag and invoice all garments and household items before they are sent to our Akron plant for processing. Counter employees are responsible for a cash drawer and for all customers' pick-ups at the store. Furthermore, they are responsible for making sure all orders come back from the plant correctly. Counter personnel are usually required to be flexible in their working hours and scheduling is dependent on individual stores. Reports to: Sales Manager Salary: Competitive.
