Members of The Fussy Cleaners staff have years of experience and knowledge in caring for virtually all types of natural and synthetic fabrics, including wool, cotton, linen, rayon and fine silk.

Now and then, a troublesome spot or stain may appear on one of your garments or a household fabric item. Most times we know just how to remove those stains, but you need to help:

Dos and Don'ts

Do: Identify the source of the stain.
Do: Tend to the stain right away.
Do: Blot, never rub a stain.
Do: Call us for advice when in doubt.
Do: Understand that a very small percentage of stains cannot be removed without ill effects to the fabric.
Do: Keep perfumes, lotions, deodorants and other toiletries from coming in contact with clothes. These items may contain alcohol, which can affect some dyes.
Don't: Pre-treat dryclean only garments.
Don't: Allow the stain to set in the fabric.
